Easy Homemade Mayo

This recipe is so easy with a few simple tools. It can be used to make salad dressings, sauces, or just slathered on a good ole' sandwich.



What you'll need:



Instructions:

  1. Add the oil to the wide mouth jar.

  2. Carefully crack the egg into the oil.

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients except the garlic clove.

  4. Place the blade of the immersion on the bottom of the jar directly over the egg yolk.

  5. Blender for approximately 30 seconds without moving the blender until the egg and oil emulsify.

  6. Slowly raise the blender up and down until everything is blended and thick.

  7. Add garlic clove if desired and blend until combined.


Voila! Super easy homemade mayo with real ingredients. This recipe is so versatile and can be flavored to your liking. Keep in the fridge for 7-10 days. If you're concerned about raw eggs, you can use pasteurized eggs.
